Below are a series of images shot in a shelter in London.  The hairdressers in the pictures are volunteers from the charity, Haircuts4Homeless set up by Stewart Roberts.  The team comes in twice a month to convert the office into a makeshift hairdressing salon.  There was a queue of people, too many for the volunteers to finish in the 2 hours that they were there.  The difference is instant and noticeable and the smiles on their faces from the massages was worth it alone.  The final image shows one of the workers from the shelter attempting to get on with her work in the corner of the office, whilst the hairdressers worked around her.  They also squeezed in a quick neaten of my somewhat shabby undercut!  I'm very grateful to Stewart and the team at the shelter for letting me document this.
